Two veterinarians and the chief curator left for Thailand on Monday (4) for a discussion about the ongoing treatments for tusker ‘Muthurajah’, but not to assist in the ongoing treatments, National Zoological Gardens' Director-General Tilak Premakantha said.
He told the Daily Mirror that the programme will conclude on Monday (11) and the team will return to the country on Tuesday (12).
The local officials will discuss the treatments to the elephant currently given by the Thai government.
