Sri Lanka will continue using the Astra Zeneca vaccines despite some countries suspending its usage over fears that it causes blood clots.
Co-Cabinet Spokesperson, Minister Ramesh Pathirana told the weekly media briefing that some European countries had temporarily suspended one particular batch of the Astra Zeneca doses but Sri Lanka had not received that batch.
He therefore urged the public not to panic and believe false stories.

I won't be taking AZ or Pfizer. I'm willing to take Moderna, Sputnik or other Russian vaccine. If only I could buy a jab at a private hospital myself... It's my body and I choose myself what I take.
