SJB, SLFP and NPP walk out of Parliament

Some opposition political parties including, SJB, SLFP, National People's Power (NPP) , independent MPs Patali Champika Ranawaka and Venerable Athureliye Rathana Thera walked out of Parliament announcing that they would boycott sessions for a week.

They said the Parliament sessions have become a waste of time as it had failed to come up with solutions to the Burning issues faced by the people including fuel and gas crisis. (Yohan Perera and Ajith Siriwardana)
