SJB MP claims his security removed

Colombo, Feb. 5 (Daily Mirror) - Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) MP Rohana Bandara today alleged that the police security provided to him following a threat on his life has been removed after a few days.
The MP told Parliament that four police personnel were assigned for security at his residence in Anuradhapura and that after a few days his security has been removed.
"The police, in their first report, said that I have a threat to my life. The second police report said I have no such threats and it is only an internal party issue. How come life threats change in two reports," he asked.
The MP questioned whether he will be provided security based on his privilege issue raised in Parliament earlier.
The Speaker said that security is provided to MPs based on police reports.
