Ruwan in Kenya for Climate Summit

Ruwan Wijewardene, the Special Advisor on Climate Change to President Ranil Wickremesinghe, is in Kenya to attend the Africa Climate Summit starting in Nairobi today. It will end on September 6.

He is representing President Wickremesinghe who was invited by his Kenyan counterpart William Ruto.

The Africa Climate Summit taking place in Kenya serves as a crucial platform for discussions and collaborations aimed at addressing climate change challenges on the African continent as well as globally.

Sri Lanka too highly values the opportunity to engage in such important discussions and share its commitment to climate action.
