Road to Somawathiya Raja Maha Viharaya flooded

Polonnaruwa, Dec.16 (Daily Mirror) - The road leading to the Somawathi Raja Maha Viharaya was obstructed due to heavy rains in the area, and the use of the road by light vehicles has been stopped, the Disaster Management Centre (DMC) said.

They said about 500 metres of the road is around 1.5 feet underwater.
