Report all weather-related emergencies to 117

Colombo, Nov. 27 (Daily Mirror) - The Disaster Management Centre (DMC) urged the public to report all weather-related emergencies to the 117 hotline, as severe weather continues to affect the island.

Search and rescue teams have been deployed across all districts, with safety centres established to shelter displaced families. The DMC advised residents in high-risk areas to remain alert to official warnings and take necessary precautions as adverse conditions persist.
