Removal of rock debris begins at Pahala Kadugannawa



Colombo, May 29 (Daily Mirror) - Removing the rock debris that was claimed to be a high-risk at Pahala Kadugannawa is currently underway, Disaster Management Center (DMC) director Pradeep Kodippili said today.

According to the Keagalle district DMC, the Pahala Kadugannawa road will not be closed completely.

They said the rocks will be removed using nets without harming the vehicle movements on the road.

However, Kodippili said that if it becomes essential to close the road the DMC will announce it to the public.
