Rear Admiral Buddhika Liyanagamage assumes duties as Eastern Naval Area Commander

Colombo, July 24 (Daily Mirror) - Rear Admiral Buddhika Liyanagamage formally assumed duties as the Commander of the Eastern Naval Area today (24), at the Eastern Naval Command Headquarters in Trincomalee.

In accordance with naval traditions, the newly appointed Area Commander was received at the Eastern Naval Command before formally taking over his duties and responsibilities from his predecessor, Rear Admiral Kosala Warnakulasooriya.

Rear Admiral Liyanagamage will continue to serve as the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Navy in addition to his new appointment.
