Railway workers begin lightning strike

Railway guards and engine drivers have launched a lightning strike, Railway Trade Unions said.

They have launched the strike in protest of the railway authorities' failure to grant fuel for railway workers to report for duty.

Railway workers provided with free quarters should be permitted to work while others should travel by train and report for work.Till 1990 most of them used to come on pushbikes it is indeed a tragedy they have switched to automobiles at a time country is dead broke,
