The university students were tear-gassed a short while ago outside the University Grants Commission (UGC) for the second time, police said.

This nonsense has to stop, it's a great inconvenience to the public. Our tax money can be put to better use than being used to finance free university education. These fellows should be shot now like the last regime did

Here you can see again that Sri Lanka is 50 years behind Germany and other developed countries in her development. Germany had student riots in the sixties and never since again. The students are eager to complete their education as soon as possible in order to enter the economy. The most are not interested in politics. They also let them not be misused by politicians.
