Protesters tear gassed near PM office

Police used tear gas to disperse a group of protesters protesting near the Prime Minister's office in Flower Road Colombo a short while ago.

Protest is held against the Prime Minister tipped to be appointed as the acting president.

is't it funny that those parties who sat in GR's cabinet voted for absolute power to GR for 2 yrs and abandoned a sinking SL are pointing hands on RW while no one stopped aragalaya from chasing GR. Further a flourishing economy in 2004 was destroyed by JVP on a Rs.5 increase in bread and they were instrumental in bringing MR are now fooling the public to destabilise the economy.
