Prime Minister to attend Qatar’s Father Emir’s funeral: Nalinda

Colombo, July 14 (Daily Mirror) - Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya will leave for Qatar tonight to attend the funeral of Qatar's Father Emir, His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Cabinet spokesman Nalinda Jayatissa said today.

He told the weekly breifing to announce Cabinet decisions that a delegation will accompany the Prime Minister.

The Minister said a group representing the Opposition is also set to attend the funeral.
