Prices of other essential goods, services will increase
Colombo, March 22 (Daily Mirror) - The fuel price hike will lead to the increase in the prices of other goods and services, Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) MP S.M. Marikkar said today.
He said the price of rice will increase as transport costs will be jacked up by the middlemen while the price of fish will also go up as the cost of fuel for the boats will increase.
"The people's expectations have been lost," he said.
