President congratulates Tarique Rahman on Bangladesh election victory

Colombo, Feb. 13 (Daily Mirror) - President Anura Kumara Dissanayake extended his best wishes to the people of Bangladesh for reaffirming their faith in democracy and congratulated Tarique Rahman on leading the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) in these elections. 

In a post on X, he said that the results reflect the trust placed in Tarique Rahman of the BNP.

The President said, "I look forward to strengthening ties between our two nations."
