All in vain. The people hate your sites and have already decided who they want. So don't plan failed coups.

Though Ranil never admitted that he was Ranil Rajapakse' he orov a beyond reasonable doubt that he is after not taking any culprit to custody for anything

Absolutely. These parasites must totally be wiped out from politics. They should never be allowed to touch politics in SL as they are found guilty by the courts for the recent meltdown. Corruption and unresolved murder cases will be the norm if they are allowed to operate again.

    Jeanne Thursday, 07 March 2024 07:44 AM

What a tragic state of affairs, and what a lie we have been told. RW in bed with MR and BR? That's the ultimate insult and biggest slap in the face for all who fought so hard for justice and the truth. Shame on Ranil for giving his critics something to laugh about.

Rajapaksas are a spent force in SL. They now need an anchor to stay floating so they are hanging on to Ranil's coat tail. If Amura Kumara wins the Presidential or Parliamentary ekection first thing would be to close the ports and airports so the Rajapaksas and thec40bthieves do not run away.

Ranil wants to get into sinking boat of MR and co. What a joke ? Where is his political wisdom gone ? Can't he see the crowd in other two camps Is this a collective political suicide? Or a coup plan as it took place in other countries May God protect this country from evil eyes of politicians and their greed

    Nimal Thursday, 07 March 2024 08:10 AM

A most unholy alliance. Fortunately, they have no hope of coming to power ever again, what with their aggregate popularity being very much less than 10%. Incidentally, this 10% is a magic figure for one of these guys.

Three very weak and immoral individuals trying to be collectively strong. Doesn’t augur well for the future of the country. This potential alliance, says a lot, of the power and influence the JVP is wielding. The JVP juggernaut cannot be stopped.

The political question that emerges here is not primarily which party alliances are emerging here, but rather which political actors come together here and make which plans in order to once again dominate the structures and living conditions in Sri Lanka according to their understanding of power! !! It is the old acquaintances who have previously made pacts and acted with each other in the darkness of power, who, without any scruples, without shame, without any ability to understand, want to play the game with people again, which is their elixir of life, which they have perfected, namely to promise, to deceive and to grab for power!!! The Rajapaksas have proven that they have not given up with the "enthronement" of Ranil Wickremesigne, but continue to exist and assert claims!!! The primary goal of all parties in the country that are oriented towards democracy, freedom and social justice must be to prevent the new "devil's pact" that is emerging between Wickremesigne and the Rajap

Sam Moorthy Friday, 08 March 2024 10:06 PM

Ranil has proven beyond any doubt, he is the most talented political figure in Sri Lanka by taking the challenge head on to revive the economy and the lively hood of all Sri Lankans. Unfortunately, because of the backstabbers who broke away from UNP, he has to form a winning alliance to continue the work he has started. He has proven that he will select the most talented individuals to his cabinet despite the pressures of SLPP and will not interfere with the judiciary. If the Rajapakse's are found guilty by the courts, he is not going to interfere. What Sri Lanka needs today is a talented leader and the people should support Ranil.
