Prabath Chandrakeerthi appointed Chief of Staff to President
Colombo, Feb. 16 (Daily Mirror) - Prabath Chandrakeerthi has been appointed as the Chief of Staff to the President, the President's Media Division (PMD) said.
The letter of appointment was handed over this morning at the Presidential Secretariat by Secretary to the President, Dr. Nandika Sanath Kumanayake.
A Special Grade officer of the Sri Lanka Administrative Service, Chandrakeerthi counts 26 years of experience in the public service.
He joined the Sri Lanka Administrative Service on 15 February 2000, was promoted to Grade I in 2010 and to Special Grade in 2019.
He is currently also serving as the Commissioner General of Essential Services.
