Power cut schedule until Friday announced

A three hour power cut schedule from tomorrow (9) to Friday (15) was announced today by the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL).

They said approval for tomorrow's power shedding was granted following a request from the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB).

Accordingly, power shedding will be imposed in the areas that come under A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V and W category, for one hour and 40 minutes during day time and one hour twenty minutes during night time.

The areas marked under the group CC will impose two hour and thirty minutes powercut from 6.00am to 8.30am except July 9, 10, and 13.

Areas under groups M, N, O, X, Y and Z will impose three hour powercut from 5.30am to 8.30am except July 9,10 and 13.
