Police probe over lawyer who gave contract to Kapuwa to kill a Magistrate

Horana Police has initiated an investigation into an incident where a lawyer had given a contract to a Kapuwa to kill Horana Magistrate Chandana Kalansuriya at least by black magic.

Police said the lawyer had given the contract to the Kapuwa who became acquainted with him when he was in the Kalutara prison over a financial fraud.

Police said an investigation was launched after the Kapuwa made a complaint with the Horana Police over the incident. (Nimanthi Ranasinghe)
