Colombo (Daily Mirror) - Pastor Jerome Fernando who arrived at the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) this morning to provide a statement in connection with an ongoing investigation against him, left the CID premises a short while ago after giving a 9-hour long statement.
Fernando returned to Sri Lanka yesterday (29) following a court order issued last week that prohibited authorities from arresting him in connection with a controversial Sunday sermon.

No of hours don't matter in a proper CID Investigations.
A real statement taking takes much longer.
Also certain aspects of such statement need to be verified.
Also according to previous CID press releases, they were talking of money laundering and currency transfers in the million had taken place. CID was serious of imminent arrest.
have the CID submitted to Court of such findings long before the jerome arrived?
All those transactions have to be verified individually from jerome.
Surprised at Court's back tracking from earlier documentary bank transaction info.
Man of God need palaces and money?

A preacher who does not know what is enlightenment and what is light. Since cricket and budget as well as elections have taken priority over the Pastor’s case. He too knows Sri Lankans suffer from short memory syndrome. His association with the banned Zimbabwean preacher and the money laundering accusations and his source of earnings will all be forgotten. The press must follow up and keep the people informed.
