President Gotabaya Rajapaksa in an Extraordinary Gazette has prorogued Parliament with effect from midnight yesterday (12) until 10 am on January 18, 2022.

Country at a critical juncture. No foreign reserves, Gas and fertiliser fireworks (i mean blasts) everywhere. Prices are skyrocketing, no essentials in the market, farmers are suffering etc etc etc......and he goes and prorogues the parliament. Only shows how foolish our politicians are. We have never seen a Government so dumb as this.
