Non-academic staff trade unions urged to address at provincial level: Ministry

Colombo, Nov. 25 (Daily Mirror) - All non-academic trade unions are advised to engage in discussions with the provincial authorities regarding any non-academic staff issues, the Education Ministry announced.

While issuing a notice, the Ministry said that following discussions among the Education Minister, officials of relevant departments, non-academic staff representatives, and trade unions, solutions have been communicated to provincial authorities, as agreed upon by November 24, 2023.

The matter was also communicated during today's (24) online meeting among the Minister and the Governors, the Ministry said.
