Misty conditions expected in four provinces during morning

COLOMBO (Daily Mirror) - Misty conditions can be expected in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, and Uva Provinces during the morning, and heavy showers above 75 mm will occur in most provinces, the Forecasting Division of the National Meteorological Centre said.

They said showers would occur in most provinces of the island after 1:00 p.m., and heavy showers above 75 mm are likely in the Western, Central, Sabaragamuwa, North-Western, and Uva Provinces.

Meanwhile, showers may occur in the Northern, Eastern, and Southern Provinces during the morning too.

Therefore, the public is requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages due to temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
