Man travelling with two kids shot dead in Ahungalla

A 29-year old man who was travelling on a motorcycle with two kids was shot dead tonight at Middaramulla in Ahungalla.

Police said two unidentified men arrived on a motorcycle shot the victim.

The motorcyclist, who was seriously injured by the gunshots, died after being admitted to the Balapitiya hospital. 

Two children who were traveling on the motorcycle were also admitted to Balapitiya Hospital due to minor injuries caused by the overturning of the motorcycle.

The deceased was identified as a resident of Ahungalla.
