Man shot dead in Minuwangoda

A 30-year-old man died when he was shot at in Boragodawatta, Minuwangoda last night while riding on a motorcycle.

Police said a man who was hiding at Ruwan Mawatha Junction at Boraodawatta opened fire at the victim and fled.

The victim, a resident of Andiambalama died instantaneously after being shot at.

Investigations are underway to arrest the suspect and to find the reason for the shooting. (DSB)
