Man dies following shooting in Galle

Galle, May 12 (Daily Mirror) - A man who sustained critical injuries in a shooting incident at Dickson Junction in Dangedara, Galle, has died after being admitted to the hospital. The victim was rushed to the Karapitiya Teaching Hospital immediately following the attack, but succumbed to his wounds shortly after.

According to the police, the shooting occurred this morning. An unidentified gunman, arriving in a motor car, opened fire on the victim before fleeing the scene. The motive for the killing remains unclear at this stage.

Galle Police have launched investigation to identify and apprehend the suspects.
