Man caught with foreign currency; ready to transact through Undiyal
A 27-year-old man was arrested by Special Task Force (STF) officials who were exchanging foreign currency under the proscribed 'Undiyal' system in Weligama, police said.
They said the suspect was arrested with foreign currency worth over Rs. 1.67 million, which he was keeping ready to send overseas through the Undiyal method
The suspect was handed over to the Weligala Police.
