Mainly fair weather over the island; few showers in EP: Met Dept.
In a weather forecast for today, the Meteorology Department said mainly fair weather would prevail elsewhere over the island and a few showers would occur in Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces.
There could be showers in Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in Galle and Matara districts during the afternoon or night.
