MP files complaint with CIABOC against Speaker
Colombo, Feb. 11 (Daily Mirror) - Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) MP Harshana Rajakaruna lodged a complaint today against Speaker Jagath Wickramaratne with the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) for the alleged disruption of another complaint filed against him by the Deputy Secretary General of Parliament Chaminda Kularatne.
MP Rajakaruna told the media that the Speaker had allegedly tried to influence the CIABOC.
"We hope that the CIABOC will handle matters in an independent manner," he said.
