Local rice production and equipment used by those with special needs have been exempted from the social security tax, Finance State Minister Ranjith Siyambalapitiya said.

High taxes are the main issue for mass scale migration. Indirect taxes are the best way in third world countries like us. Agriculture should be tax free so at least people will look to modernize it. Also sectors like IT should be tax free so that we can get more it related work from overseas as currently india and other asian countries dominate it. No plans just trying to survive till next PE.
