Landslide warning issued for seven districts

Colombo, June 14 (Daily Mirror)- The National Building Research Organisation (NBRO) today issued early warnings for landslides in seven districts.

Accordingly, the warning notices were issued to the Colombo, Galle, Kalutara, Kandy, Kegalle, Nuwara Eliya and Ratnapura districts.

Residents in these areas are advised to be watchful for possibility of landslides, slope failures, rock falls, cutting failures and ground subsidence.‬
