Colombo, March 17 (Daily Mirror) - A high-level meeting took place today (17) at the Civil Aviation Authority premises, chaired by Deputy Minister of Ports and Civil Aviation Janitha Ruwan Kodithuwakku, to address strategies for sustaining air services amid fuel supply disruptions caused by the ongoing war situation.
Participants reviewed current aviation fuel stocks, evaluated existing management practices, and discussed steps needed to maintain uninterrupted flight operations. The Civil Aviation Authority also deliberated on measures to efficiently manage its fuel resources during the crisis.
The session was attended by Secretary to the Ministry W. W. S. Mangala, the Chairman and Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority, senior management officials, and other ministry representatives.
