Japan’s Foreign Minister holds talks with President

Japan's Foreign Minister Yōko Kamikawa called on President Ranil Wickremesinghe at the Presidential Secretariat a short while ago.

 

The meeting highlighted crucial discussions surrounding Sri Lanka's ongoing debt restructuring process, economic recovery endeavors, and prospective investment initiatives by Japan within Sri Lanka.

 

During the discussions, both parties emphasized the importance of bilateral cooperation in addressing Sri Lanka's economic challenges.

    Very true. She has to be like that when dealing with a CORRUPT GOVERNMENT. The latest being the VISA DEAL where it has been oursourced to a foreign company WITHOUT following tenure procedure.

    Gone are the days the protocol is president meets (Hold talks) with president ( or the Head of state) and Ministers hold talks with Ministers. Nowadays, minister holding talks with president, what kind of protocol is that!??? Maybe Because the leader wants directly beg for money, yeah.

    The problem in Sri Lanka is not the market economy. It is completely uncontrollable massive corruption by almost all the ruling party politicians , thuggery and complete impotence to the feelings and hardships of people of this country.
