Iranian crew to be brought to Colombo

Colombo, March 05 (Daily Mirror) - Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Dissanayake said that the crew of the Iranian naval ship IRIS Bushehr, currently positioned just outside Sri Lanka’s territorial waters, will be disembarked at the Port of Colombo.

The vessel will then be taken to Trincomalee Harbour, while the Sri Lanka Navy is making arrangements to safely transport the 208 personnel on board to Colombo.

The opposition wanted the Govt to show solidarity with Iran, and then they inquired why the ship was allowed to berth and do forth. All these were not because of love towards any country but for their political revival( which will never come). The Govt has done the correct thing by allowing the souls to be safely brought ashore based on conventions signed by the country. It is like having the cake and also wanting to eat the cake... for opposition. Govt refusing the ship to come or allowing the ship to come are both wrong for the opposition. Neither here or there as usual. Just shows how stupid Sajith, Baby, foul mouthed Chamara, etc are
