Intermittent rain, dense fog disrupt traffic in Central Hills

Colombo, July 10 (Daily Mirror) - Intermittent rain and dense fog have affected the western slopes of the Central Hills, disrupting traffic and reducing visibility on several main roads, police said.

The Nuwara Eliya Disaster Management Unit has urged motorists to exercise extreme caution and drive slowly due to poor visibility caused by dense fog.

Drivers travelling on the Hatton–Nuwara Eliya, Nuwara Eliya–Welimada and Nuwara Eliya–Gampola main roads have been advised to remain vigilant and adhere to safety precautions until weather conditions improve.
