Colombo, Feb. 6 (Daily Mirror) - Ayomi Gunawardana, Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder of Inivos Consulting Pvt Ltd, has won two honours at the WCIC Prathibaabisheka Awards 2025.
She received the National Award for “The Most Outstanding Export-Oriented Woman Entrepreneur of the Year – Services (2025)” and a Bronze Award in the Large Category of the Business Entrepreneur Women segment.
Organised by the Women’s Chamber of Industry and Commerce (WCIC), the Prathibaabisheka Awards are among Sri Lanka’s leading national accolades recognising excellence in women’s entrepreneurship, leadership, innovation and business impact following a rigorous evaluation process.
Gunawardana and Inivos competed under the Business Entrepreneur Women – Large Category, reflecting the company’s scale and export-driven operations. The national recognition highlights Inivos’ success in delivering Sri Lankan-developed ERP and technology solutions to international markets.
With more than 18 years of experience at a global ERP organisation prior to co-founding Inivos, Gunawardana has played a key role in building the company into a trusted technology partner across industries including manufacturing, retail, healthcare, construction, automotive software and food and beverage. As COO, she has led operational excellence and supported the company’s international expansion.
She is also an advocate for increasing women’s participation in the technology sector, actively mentoring female professionals and promoting women in leadership roles.
