Imported milk powder prices to be reduced from tomorrow

Colombo, April 24 (Daily Mirror) - Milk powder importers announced a reduction in the selling price of imported milk powder with effect from tomorrow.

As a result, the retail price of a kilogram packet of milk powder will be reduced by between Rs. 250 and Rs. 300.

Additionally, the selling price of a 400-gram milk powder packet will be lowered by between Rs. 100 and Rs. 130.

These people have charged extra ordinary prices it was around 900/- per kilo earlier. If it is 1200 for a 1kg should be the reasonable price. They increased the price upto 3000/- like the cement bag and now dropping the price due to price drop. Public must refuse using these milk powder till they reduce to a reasonable price...every business people have increased the price in all commodities and then they complain the government....
