IUSF protest begins causing traffic jam

Several roads in the Town Hall area near the Nelum Pokuna Theatre and Independence Square reported heavy traffic due to a protest march by the Inter University Students Federation (IUSF) against the incumbent government, the police said.

They said the road leading to Galle Face Green from Kollupitiya junction on the Galle road has been closed, and long-distance buses have been directed to Fort via the Gangaramaya road. (CPS)
