IUSF convener arrested

Convener of the Inter University Students' Federation, Maheel Dehideniya, was arrested by the police over unruly behaviour during the protest carried out by the IUSF students near the parliament roundabout today, police said.

Police used tear gas and water cannon to disperse the IUSF students.

These guys will be in streets when they get it free with state jobs and duty free vehicles. Self employed tax payers should be given additional benefits as per principle of natural justice.

These are thugs who waste our money saying they are uni students. They should be asked to pay for their education and then they may understand the value of free education.

What happened to the case of damaged property at the Ministry - some were arrested, released on bail . then every one has forgotten about it. Same with the GMOA fellow for contempt of court !. Pray - whom are the govt/police trying to fool ?
