IGP’s tenure extended by three months through Gazette

A Gazette Extraordinary has been issued extending the tenure of IGP C.D. Wickramaratne for a period of three months.

According to the gazette notification, the President, in terms of Article 41C.(1) and 61E.(b) of the Constitution, has appointed C.D. Wickramaratne, as the Inspector General of Police, with effect from March 26, 2023 for a period of three months.
