Holiday for all Tamil schools on Monday: Ministry
COLOMBO (Daily Mirror) - The Education Ministry today announced a school holiday for all Tamil schools on Monday (13) in view of the Deepavali festival falling on Sunday (12).
The Ministry has taken this decision considering the requirement of Tamil schools.
However, the Ministry announced that schools must be held on November 18 (Saturday) to cover the syllabus.
The principals of Tamil schools should inform their respective Zonal Education Departments in this regard.
