Heroin, ICE worth over Rs.3 bn seized by the Navy
The Navy seized a haul of narcotic substances worth over Rs. 3,270 millions during an operation in high seas,Navy Spokesman Isuru Sooriyabandara said.
Accordingly, narcotics suspected to be 260 kg of heroine and 56 kg of Crystal methamphetamine (ICE)would be among the seized narcotics, he said.
Earlier, the Navy also seized a stock of narcotics worth more than Rs.12.5 billion during an operation conducted in the high seas.
