Heavy showers above 50 mm after 2 p.m. today

COLOMBO (Daily Mirror) - Heavy showers above 50 mm expected in the Western, Central, Sabaragamuwa, Southern, North-Western and Uva Provinces after 2 p.m., the Forecasting Division of the National Meteorological Centre said.

They said showers are likely at some places in the Sabaragamuwa and Uva Provinces and in the Kandy, Nuwara-Eliya, Galle and Matara districts.

Meanwhile, showers will occur at times in the Eastern Province and in the Polonnaruwa district at night.

However, misty conditions can be expected at some places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, North-Central and Uva Provinces during the morning.
