Colombo, Feb. 10 (Daily Mirror) - Sri Lanka all-rounder Wanindu Hasaranga has been reportedly ruled out of the remainder of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 after scans confirmed a left hamstring injury.

According to reports, the injury is understood to require several weeks of rehabilitation, effectively ending Hasaranga’s participation in the tournament.

He reportedly sustained the injury during Sri Lanka’s opening Group match against Ireland.

Hasaranga’s absence is seen as a major setback for Sri Lanka, who are co-hosts of the tournament.
