Colombo, May 22 (Daily Mirror) - The Examinations Department today announced the date of the holding of the Grade Five Scholarship Examination for 2024.

Examinations Commissioner General H.J.M.C. Amith Jayasundara said the Scholarship Examination will be held on September 15 (Sunday).

Applications for the examination will be accepted online from May 27, and the closing date will be June 14.

Applications will not be accepted after midnight of June 14, and the closing date for applications will not be extended due to any reasons.

Students in Grade 5 in government-approved schools will be eligible to apply for the examination.

Students who are under eleven years as of January 31, 2025 will be eligible for the scholarships.
