German language crosstalk in Parliament

Parliament, Dec. 4 (Daily Mirror)- A rare feature was witnessed in Parliament today where a crosstalk took place in German.

"The mandate which the SLPP obtained in 2020 is, Allas Kaput," Leader of the Opposition Sajith Premadasa said. "Allas Kaput in German means 'no more' or does not exist anymore," Premadasa said.

"I am using the German word 'Kayiya Aanu' to refer to the Opposition Leader. Kayiya Aanu in German is 'no brains'," State Minister Piyal Nishantha said.

I think all of them have no brains and is trying to show off. "No more" in German is "nicht mehr" "No brains" in German is "Keine Hehirne" Why cand DM just do fact checks and call out these idiotic politicians????? That's what Journalism is about. Not just to repeat what someone said.

I check the words No Brains in German and found "Kein Gehirn" to be the correct wording. The words given by Piyal Nishantha do not rhyme anywhere near the correct wording
