Colombo, July 02 (Daily Mirror) - The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) has called on stakeholders and members of the public to submit written views on the pricing and costing of fuel used for electricity generation on or before 14 July 2026.
The submissions will be considered as part of a public hearing to examine the pricing and costing of fuel used for electricity generation and its impact on electricity tariffs. The hearing will also look into other matters related to the implementation of Fuel Supply Agreements (FSAs) for thermal power plants.
The Commission said written submissions should include any concerns, impacts, or relevant information related to fuel pricing for electricity generation. If necessary, parties who make submissions may be invited to provide oral evidence during the hearing.
Submissions should be addressed to the Director General of the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka. The date, time, and venue of the public hearing will be announced at a later date.
