Four more MPs including Sivanesathurai Chandrakanthan alias Pillaiyan have been sworn in as State Ministers before President Gotabaya Rajapaksa today.

Accordingly, Sivanesathurai Chandrakanthan was appointed as State Minister of Rural Road Development while S. Viyalendran as State Minister of Youth and Sports.

Mohammed Musharaf was sworn in as State Minister of Textiles Production Development and Dr. Suren Raghavan as State Minister of Higher Education.

Dr. Raghavan earlier was appointed as State Minister for Education Services and Reforms but later as State Minister of Higher Education. (Darshana Sanjeewa Balasuriya)

These moves are not positive indicators. If the change of the cabinet was to please the protesters, the ploy did not work instead it backfired.

President was elected in end of 2019 from that day how ministers he has appointed how many times he shuffled the cabinet President has shown to the people he cannot handle this job.

Pillayan who was in the jail as murder accused. Putting him as a state minister is a joke. what showing clearly Rajapaksas is not yet come out from reality what is happening in sri lanka now.
