Colombo, April 2 (Daily Mirror) - Former Minister Mahinda Wijesekera, a prominent political figure in Sri Lanka’s southern region, passed away this morning (02). 

Known for his influential role in regional politics and his contributions to national governance, Wijesekera held several key ministerial positions during his career.

Further details regarding funeral arrangements are yet to be announced.
