This was a much needed HC when a large number of Sri Lankans reside in New Zealand. We have HCs in countries like Seychelles where our people are scarce.

Since we seem to be opening and closing consulates, why not save tge SL taxpayer money by keeping the consulate and its staff on a leaky boat. Tgat way we can sail it to wherever we want a consulate and be ready and operational. For land locked areas use a Barra karthe instead of a leaky boat.
